We’re so excited to welcome you to Boston! There are so many fun activities and sights to see around Boston during our wedding weekend. A major event to be aware of is the Head of the Charles, which is a famous annual rowing event on the Charles River. We’ve compiled a long list of cool things to do and see while you’re here – including the Head of the Charles and much more, which you can check out under the “Things to do” tab on this website.
Our welcome dinner starts at 6:30 pm, and we’d love to see you then! If your travel plans will get you in town later than 6:30 pm, please still join us and RSVP “will attend” on our RSVP page. We’d love to have you!
The Welcome Dinner will take place at Catalyst Restaurant, located at 300 Technology Square in Cambridge, MA. The restaurant will offer validated parking at the Technology Square Garage, located at 800 Technology Square in Cambridge. Bring your parking ticket with you when you enter the restaurant for validation. If you're taking public transportation, the nearest T Stop is the Kendall/MIT stop on the Red Line, a 7-minute walk from the restaurant.
Our ceremony will start promptly at 5:00 pm, so we ask that you try to arrive by 4:45 pm at the latest to ensure that you will be able to enter the sanctuary ahead of the ceremony. Thank you!
There are a variety of ways to get to Hebrew College. We’re offering a bus to bring guests from the Newton Marriott to Hebrew College, which is a great option if you don’t want to drive or Uber. The bus schedule is included in the FAQ below. In case you prefer to drive or take a rideshare app, put this address into your GPS: 1860 Washington St, Auburndale, MA 02466. A big parking lot with lots of space is available in front of the building entrance and on the side of the building. Generally, we recommend taking our offered transportation or carpooling with another wedding guest since rideshare apps can be a bit unreliable near the venue. Feel free to let us know if you’d like to be connected with a carpool buddy! If you plan to come from Downtown Boston, the bus will also stop at your hotel or you can also take public transportation via the MBTA – take the Riverside - D line to the Woodland stop. Hebrew College is an 8-minute walk from the stop.
Fun cocktail is cocktail attire with a twist! We invite you to get creative with patterns, colors, and textures. Think jewel tones, fresh accessories, cool tailoring – go beyond the usual black dress or black suit! This could mean a pants set or a dress with a fun shape, pattern, or fabric – topped with a cool jacket/shawl/bag or paired with funky shoes. Or think about a suit with a fresh pair of sneakers or colorful pocket squares, socks, or ties – or go wild and choose a non-neutral color for the suit itself. If it’s helpful to know, our wedding aesthetic is lightly inspired by the fashion of 'The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel' and mid-century styles. We’ve also put together a moodboard to offer some visual inspiration – this board is just a starting point, and we welcome you to take the inspiration and run with it in whatever direction feels best for you. The board is the header image on this page. And, ultimately, you are welcome to wear a black dress or suit too, if that makes you feel your best :) No matter what, the most important thing to us is that you wear whatever cocktail attire that will help you feel your most fabulous and most comfortable to dance the night away!
When you RSVP, please fill out the box asking for your allergy/dietary restrictions for each of the wedding events. The meal at our wedding will be a kosher meat meal that is completely nut-free. For our Welcome Dinner and Brunch, we will make sure to accommodate your dietary needs, so please let us know and we’ll make sure you are well-fed :)
The beautiful images that grace our Save the Dates and invitations are all thanks to our brilliant friend, Kit Collins, who is a multi-talented public artist, muralist, and city councillor. She is one of Sara’s best friends from Tufts, and we feel so blessed and grateful to have her artwork gracing our special event. We invite you to check out and support her wonderful work, which you can see more of on her website here: https://www.kitschcollins.com/.
