What is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP on our website no later than August 31st.

What happens if I do not RSVP?

Answer

If we don’t receive your RSVP by the requested date, we’ll assume you’re unable to attend. That means we won’t be able to reserve a seat or include you in our final guest count for dinner. We truly hope you can make it, so please let us know either way!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 PM, so we kindly ask that guests arrive by 4:30 PM. This allows time to park, find your seat, and get settled before the celebration begins. We can’t wait to see you there!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We kindly request cocktail attire for our celebration. Cocktail-length or long dresses are welcome for ladies, and suits or jackets are encouraged for gentlemen.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones, but our wedding will be an adults-only celebration (18+). We thought you would enjoy a night off, and we’re excited to enjoy a fun night with you!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate with our closest family and friends! To maintain a thoughtfully curated guest list, we’re only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation and on our website when you RSVP. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate together!

Is parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes! There is plenty of parking available at The Tate House.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a hotel block reserved at the Hampton Inn Atlanta Canton (710 Transit Avenue, Canton, GA 30114). If you’d like to book a room with our hotel block, please use the link located on our website travel tab, or call the hotel directly and ask for the Smethers - Cox Wedding Rate. The cutoff date for the block is 8/16/25, so be sure to book prior to that date if you’d like a room in the block.
