We got engaged on leap year! Kelly & Rhett had spent all morning together running around town. That same morning they went to the Etowah Valley Humane Society to adopted their kitten, Pepper. Went home, had lunch, Kelly left to get her nails done; they had a birthday dinner for Kelly that night with friends. When Kelly got home around 2pm, she was putting her shoes up in the closest. Rhett came in the room, and said, "Ah Kelly, I need to tell you something," Kelly said, "Oh no, what happened? What did you do?" Rhett said, "I'm going to need for you to sit down." Kelly was worried that something was seriously wrong. She sat down on the bed, Rhett sat next to her. Rhett started by telling Kelly how much he loved her and hoped that she knew that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her, and prayed that she felt the same way. Well, of course she did!
