What is the closest airport to the venue?

Answer

The closest airport to Cambridge is Boston Logan International Airport (BOS). Cambridge can easily be accessed either by a 15-20 minute Uber ride or via the subway (the T).

Do you have a hotel block?

Answer

We do not have a block at any dedicated hotel. We have included some recommended nearby hotels in the Travel tab, but please feel free to search outside of our recommendations as well. There are many hotels in the immediate venue area and the surrounding cities to Boston, as well as Airbnb options for larger groups.

What kind of weather should I prepare for?

Answer

Average highs in Boston in mid-October are around 58–62 °F, with cooler evenings dropping to the low 40s.

Is the ceremony and reception indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our venue has a lovely walled convertible patio that can be adjusted according to the weather, so you can expect a room temperature event. While the weather in Cambridge in October will likely be chilly, the enclosed patio is heated and has a large functional fireplace. Both the ceremony and dinner will take place on the patio, while the cocktail hour will take place in an indoor event space within the venue.

Is there parking available at the venue?

Am I allowed a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to the size of our venue, we cannot accommodate additional plus ones other than those previously communicated to individual guests.

Are children allowed at the event?

Answer

Due to the size of our venue, we kindly ask that all children under the age of 10 be left with a trusted sitter, unless previously communicated to individual guests. However, if childcare affects your ability to attend, please do not hesitate to reach out to either of us.

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

We do not have a registry; your presence at our wedding will be our greatest gift!

Why no dancing and live music?

Answer

As we will be welcoming friends and family from abroad and across the country, we prefer to gather over an intimate dinner as we do not get to see many of our guests often. Also, being an international couple, our families have very little opportunity to get to know one another outside of our wedding weekend. We prefer to keep the atmosphere relaxed with light music, drinks, and great food to accommodate mingling and chatting.

Will there be other activities over the wedding weekend?

Answer

Yes! We have a welcome event planned the night before the wedding, as well as a couple additional activities on both the Friday before and Sunday after the wedding for those still in town. Our goal is to spend as much time as possible with family while everyone is in town, so we will be present at all events listed.
