FAQs

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Lauren Sloss at (703) 946-9817 or our Maid of Honor, Payton Linden, at (571) 264-3036.
Question

When's the deadline to RSVP?

Answer

Please let us know if you are coming or not no later than April 30th. If you do not RSVP "YES" before this deadline and still want to join us, you'll need to bring your own chair and a sandwich.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, we are only able to accommodate the children in our wedding party, including our flower girl and ring bearer, at our reception.

Question

Is there parking on site?

Answer

Yes, there is parking available, but space is limited. To be safe, we recommend carpooling.

Question

What is the wedding party wearing?

Answer

The bridesmaids will be wearing assorted shades of light blue, while the groomsmen will be dressed in charcoal.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We’d love to celebrate with everyone, but due to our venue’s limited capacity, we’re only able to accommodate a set number of guests. If you’re invited to bring a guest, you’ll see their name listed on your invitation. Thank you so much for understanding!

Question

Is the ceremony unplugged?

Answer

Yes! We kindly ask guests to fully enjoy the moment by not using phones or cameras during the ceremony. We have an amazing professional photographer and videographer capturing every special memory, so you can relax and be present with us.

Question

Can I easily get a ride from the venue back to my accommodations nearby?

Answer

Lake Anna is a beautiful, somewhat rural area—which means ride share services like Uber and Lyft can be unpredictable. While they are technically available, it’s not uncommon for wait times to be long, especially later in the evening. Here’s what we recommend: - Designate a driver if you're traveling with a group. - Pre-schedule a ride with Lyft (available in the app) or book a local car service ahead of time. - Don’t count on hailing a ride last-minute—you’ll be better off planning ahead to make sure you get home smoothly and safely.

Question

Is there a detailed timeline?

Answer

3:00 PM – Guest Arrival Please arrive by 3:15 PM to get seated for the ceremony. 3:30 PM – Ceremony Begins Join us by the water as we exchange vows. 4:00 PM – Cocktail Hour Enjoy drinks and light bites with a lakeside view. 5:00 PM – Dinner Under the Tent Gather for a delicious meal and heartfelt toasts. 6:30 PM – Dancing & Celebration Let the celebration begin under the stars! 8:45 PM – Final Song & Sparkler Send-Off Line-Up Grab a sparkler and help us light up the night. 9:00 PM – Boat Send-Off Wave goodbye as we cruise into forever!
