Back in June 2021, fate (and TikTok’s algorithm) brought us together. I was having a girls night with my two best friends, Valerie and Liz just a typical evening filled with snacks, laughs, and chaotic energy. Naturally, we ended up going live on TikTok for fun. After a while, we started scrolling through other live streams and stumbled across this guy Eric playing guitar and singing his heart out. Instantly, we were hooked. He had a charm, a voice, and a ridiculous number of hats. The three of us jumped into his live, and soon we were all chatting like old friends. But even in that chaos, I felt something different about him. And apparently, he was magnetized by my presence (his words, but I’ll allow it). We talked for weeks after that, until one day, he actually drove out to visit me at work. It was sweet, unexpected, and a little movie-moment-ish. But then plot twist we lost touch for 2.5 years. Then out of nowhere, in true rom-com fashion, Eric reached out to me… via my Etsy shop (yep, Etsy of all places). And from that moment, it was like no time had passed we clicked instantly. It felt like we picked up right where we left off, only stronger. Since then, we’ve been glued at the hip, best friends, soulmates, and now… soon-to-be spouses. 💍 The Proposal From the start, Eric always said, “I’m going to marry you someday.” Cute, right? Well, in May 2024, he kept that promise. We went to The Melting Pot for a deliciously romantic dinner (cheese, chocolate, and love what more could a girl want?). Afterward, he took me to my favorite spot by the water. We were standing on the pier, just soaking in the moment, when he got a little quiet… and then a lot nervous. Before I knew it, he was down on one knee, asking me to be his wife. And even though I knew it was coming someday, in that moment it was perfect, magical, and yesI obviously said YES!
