When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by April 14, 2023.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive to the Detroit Yacht Club by 5:15 pm. The ceremony will start at 5:30 pm. Keep in mind, once you arrive at Belle Isle, it takes about 15 minutes to get to the Yacht Club. Allow yourself some extra time!

Is there transportation to and from the hotel and the venue?

Answer

A shuttle will be provided from the Marriott - Renaissance Center to the DYC and will run hourly after dinner to take guests back to the hotel.

Is there parking at the wedding venue?

Answer

The Yacht Club has plenty of parking. Once you are on Belle Isle, it takes about 15 minutes to get to the DYC, so please allow yourself some extra time. Also, you can leave your car overnight if needed.

Can I use Uber or Lyft to get to and from the Detroit Yacht Club?

Answer

Yes! You are able to use Ride Sharing apps to be dropped off or picked up at the DYC.

Question

With Belle Isle being a state park, do I need to pay an entry fee?

Answer

A parking pass will be provided with your invitation. If you don’t have the pass with you and there is an attendant at the entrance, just let them know you’re headed to a wedding at the DYC.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off, so the celebration will be adults 21+ only.
