Maid of Honor
Nicole (or Niki as we call her) is one of Sloan's big sisters. Niki helped instill a passion for the Food Network and food in general, in Sloan from a young age. She is the creative mind behind almost all artistic decisions we have to make and while she would never admit it herself, is an excellent punster.
Best Man
Arthur and Wes have been best friends since 4th grade when Arthur moved into the 'AP'. They used to stay up until 2 AM and sneak out of his parent's house during sleepovers. At any given moment, you can find Wes beating Arthur at Chess on their phones against each other.
Matron of Honor
Blair is Sloan's other big sister and mother to the two cutest youths you've ever seen (and Danny's wife). We Facetime with Blair on average, once (okay sometimes three times) a day. We tried to hire Blair as our wedding planner since she throws the best parties but she was too busy girl bossing, being a mom and wife. Don't worry, we still involve her in 99% of the decisions.
Groomsman
Danny is the reason that Sloan went to CU. He is the father of the two cutest youths that you will ever meet and the husband of Blair. Danny is finally happy to welcome another guy into the family so he has an excuse to golf and watch sports.
Bridesmaid
Jessica (or Jess) is Wes' more talented younger sister. Jess has the voice of an angel and creativity like you've never seen. Sloan and Jess exchange Snapchats on the daily to keep her informed of all of the weird things that Wes does.
Groomsman
Adam was Wes' big brother in AEPi, and he is the smartest football mind that doesn't work for a football team. Wes calls him to talk about the depressing Broncos on a weekly basis.
Bridesmaid
Yael and Sloan met while working at AIPAC 7 years ago and have been best friends ever since. They have traveled all over the world together and can be found communicating on three different platforms at any given time.
Groomsman
Alex and Wes became friends in high school where they were known to have made an epic film project about Hank Lazar, the strong leg. Fun fact about Alex, he used to be a frequent caller into the Jim Rome radio show.
Bridesmaid
Alex and Sloan have been best friends since the days of braces. They spent three years as roommates in Kips Bay in NYC, not to be mistaken for Murray Hill. Alex was the first friend to meet Wes and immediately approved, minus the fact he is a Broncos fan and not a Vikings fan.
Groomsman
Ty and Wes have been great friends since high school and are always teammates when it comes to spikeball. You can catch Ty collecting development cards and making dumb trades during Catan.
Bridesmaid
Emily and Sloan have been best friends since, well forever. Despite going to different schools, they spent almost every weekend together from the ages of 10-18. Emily and Wes frequently play chess against each other on their phones while Sloan and Cory (Emily's husband) stick to puns in a group chat.
Groomsman
Sina and Wes have also been great friends since high school and have become closer friends since then. Sina dominates the Catan board and is always making excuses that his ankle hurts. Sina is also the reason that Wes tore his ACL in college because he wanted to play "one more basketball game".
Bridesmaid
Cara and Sloan met at Herzl camp as campers and have been best friends since then, they even spent several years on staff to spend our summers together. Despite always being long-distance best friends, they've always visited each other in Iowa, Minnesota, Colorado, New York and Chicago.
Groomsman
Brett and Wes immediately hit it off on Birthright while standing in the security line at the airport. Although Brett cheers for the wrong sports teams, Brett does get the last laugh when it comes to baseball. Brett recently moved to New York and Wes and Sloan are glad to have him in the Big Apple!
Bridesmaid
Brittany and Sloan also met at Herzl camp many many years ago. Despite years of not seeing each other, when they finally reunited, it was like no time had passed at all and have been best friends (again) since then. Brittany recently moved to Denver and is trying to convince us to hurry up our move and join her.
Groomsman
When Wes moved to New York, one of the only people he knew was Daniel. Since then, Wes and Daniel enjoy a weekly dinner at Sathi, play Chess and softball. Daniel is the type of person that will do anything for his friends and Wes is lucky that he reconnected with Daniel.
Bridesmaid
Gabby and Sloan met in creative writing Freshman year at CU. Gabby thought Sloan was a cool East Coast Jewish girl and immediately befriended her. Thankfully she did as they quickly developed a friendship and Sloan says that Gabby is the single reason that she didn't transfer to Wisconsin Freshman year and in turn, would have never met Wes.
Groomsman
When Wes moved to New York, he consulted for a failing scooter startup at an office called Voyager HQ, where Tony worked. Tony and Wes immediately hit it off and became friends. Even though Tony has absolutely terrible sport's opinions, he is a great friend.
Ring Bearer
These are the two cutest youths you will ever see! Sloan and Wes, or Auntie Muffins and Uncle Boom, can't wait to have them be a part of the wedding.
