What is the dress code?

The dress code for our wedding is cocktail attire. We can't wait to see our closest friends and family dress up for our big day!

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love all of your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adult-only event. We have a strict guest list to stay within venue capacity and appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so that you can let loose and enjoy celebrating our special day with us!

Can I bring a date/plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP.

How do I get to and from the venue?

Answer

Due to limited parking space that is reserved for vendors and family, we will have hired Elite Shuttle Services to transport all guests to and from the venue. (You'll thank us later once you see how curvy the roads are!) Staying in a cabin? The shuttle service can pick you up from your cabin and drop you back off as long as you are staying on Bluff Mountain. There are plenty of cabins within a 20 minute drive from the venue. Once you have booked your cabin please send Brittany the address ASAP so that she can pass it along to Elite Event Services. They will then create a pick-up schedule that Brittany will send out. ***From Elite Event Services*** What are the best lodging locations for the door-to-door service? To ensure the shuttle runs efficiently, we recommend staying within 20 minutes or less to the venue. The best areas to stay are either off of Bluff Mountain Road, inside The Summit, Smoky Cove Resort, Laurel Branch, or at a hotel right off the Parkway near Wears Valley Road. Staying in a hotel? Please check out the accommodations page for hotel information. Depending on the number of guest staying in different hotels Elite Shuttle Services may ask that you meet at their office to shuttle to the venue. Please let Brittany know where you have booked your accommodations so that she can let Elite Services know and in turn let you know if the shuttle will be picking up from your hotel. For guests driving in just for the day/guests not using door-to-door shuttle service and guest who choose to stay outside of the 20 minute pick-up area: Elite Shuttle Services parking lot is located at 1684 Walden’s Creek Rd.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

It's east Tennessee! It could be 25 degrees and snowing or it could be a sunny 72 degrees. Continue to check the weather as our big day arrives to help you plan accordingly!

Will the ceremony/cocktail hour/reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Ceremony - Weather permitting, the ceremony will be held on an uncovered patio outdoors. As long as it is not pouring rain, sleeting, or ridiculously cold we will be having the ceremony outside. So please plan accordingly! Cocktail Hour - Cocktail hour will be held outdoors as well, but will be covered. Same rules as above applies! Reception - The reception will be held indoors. If the weather is absolutely terrible we have a backup plan.
