Savannah: I just graduated FSU and started my video production job with Don Yaeger in Tallahassee and decided to join a church small group. I put the address in my phone, but when I pulled up and saw it was a townhouse, I did not know if it was unit A or B so I sat in my car and tried to find the email with all of the information. I saw this very attractive guy get out of his red jeep and start walking towards me, he waved and I didn't know what to say when I got out of my car, so I just panicked and said: "Hi I'm new." That night when my mom asked me how bible study was I texted back: "I met my soulmate." I knew right away Justin was the one! A few weeks later he asked me to go to Lucky Goat Coffee Shop (I dressed up because it was before one of my big work events) and every day after that I have fallen more in love with him! Justin: I had been going to the Shropshire's house for a bible study for a while at this point. I was used to seeing the same people every week, so when this car pulled up to the house I confidently walked up to the driver's side door waving my hand expecting to see one of the "regulars." To my embarrassment, this beautiful girl that I had never met gets out of the car. I stood there frozen in place momentarily before Savannah greeted me with, "Hi. I'm new!" Grateful she interrupted my "deer-in-headlights" moment, I played it cool and showed her into the house. Needless to say it wasn't easy to focus on the lesson that evening. A little while later, I asked her out for coffee at Lucky Goat. She told me she was going to the gym beforehand, so I wore casual athletic clothes that I normally wore every day to study. She walked in COMPLETELY DECKED OUT IN A DRESS WITH HEELS LOOKING LIKE SHE WAS GOING TO THE ROYAL WEDDING OR SOMETHING! Fortunately, she decided to continue seeing and eventually date me. Now, I have the pleasure of calling this amazing woman my fiance and future bride! God is so good!
