Please let us know your plans by April 1, 2025.
We'd encourage you to travel in by Friday, August 15th. We'll have festivities starting Saturday, August 16th through wedding day on Monday, August 18th.
To get from Lisbon Airport to Estoril, you can take a Bolt or Uber directly from the arrivals area. The drive takes about 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic, and costs approximately €30-€50.
We do not have a room block, but we do have a promo code: ALYSSAELIJAH at Palacio Estoril Hotel (https://www.palacioestorilhotel.com/). This is where we're encouraging guests to stay, but you're welcome to select another hotel in surrounding areas if you prefer.
We want spend as much time together together as we can with our favorite people. We will have planned festivities on Saturday and Sunday in Estoril, more details to come there. Post-wedding, we invite you to relax by the sea with us until Thursday, August 21st. Of course, we want you to do what works best with your schedule and travel plans!
Yes, we will arrange transportation for guests between Palácio Estoril and the wedding venue. More details will be shared as the wedding date approaches.
We appreciate your understanding in keeping attendance to those named on your invitation. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Thank you!
We'd love for you to make a family trip out of it, and to be with your kids all week, but the wedding itself will be an adults-only event. If you need recommendations for babysitting options in Portugal, let us know! The hotel offers them, we are happy to help you coordinate.
The dress code for our wedding is European Summer Formal. We encourage guests to wear elegant suits and long or midi dresses in vibrant, summery hues. Light, breathable fabrics are ideal for the warm weather in August, and bold accessories or pops of color to compliment the stunning Sintra backdrop!
We recommend using Uber around Estoril and Lisbon!
If you have any additional questions regarding the wedding, feel free to reach out to us by email (aandecasar@gmail.com). We’re here to help and can’t wait to celebrate with you in Portugal!
Please ensure you have the following two documents to travel to Portugal - a valid passport and an ETIAS form (European Travel Information and Authorization System). Information on both below: Your passport must have 3 months validity beyond the date of intended departure (i.e. if you plan to fly back to the U.S. on August 20th, 2023 your passport must expire no earlier than November 20, 2025). Passport renewal can take several months, so please double check your passports soon and make appointments at passport agencies if necessary! To visit Portugal in 2025, travelers from visa-exempt countries (includes US) will need to apply for an ETIAS online before arrival. The process is quick, inexpensive, and approval is typically received within minutes. You will apply on the official ETIAS website, which is expected to launch early 2025.
