The day we met was definitely one to remember. It all started in early May 2024 when Steve and his Uncle Jeff were out golfing. On their way home, they spotted Lindsey just about to leave. Jeff joked, “Oh, Lindsey’s leaving—we should mess with her.” Without missing a beat, Steve laid on the horn of his truck, stopping her in her tracks. They hopped out, playfully started messing with her car, and Steve even flipped her passenger-side mirror around backwards. That quirky moment sparked something. Not long after, we started Snapchatting back and forth. Fast forward about three weeks—and a few hangouts at Walmart later—we officially became a couple. It wasn’t long before we discovered a shared love for the paranormal. Steve introduced Lindsey to his favorite YouTube show, Project Fear. When Lindsey saw that the Project Fear crew would be at Madison Seminary in Madison Ohio for "Madcon" doing a meet-and-greet in September, she surprised Steve with tickets as an early Christmas gift. At the event, we explored the convention with Steve’s mom and found out there was a Chinese auction. As part of another surprise, Lindsey bought Steve a bunch of tickets for giveaway entries—again, part of his Christmas present. One of the prizes? A private paranormal investigation. And guess what? We won! That investigation was scheduled for late November 2024 at the Historic Stark Saloon in Rosedale, Indiana. By that time, Steve already knew Lindsey was the one he wanted to spend forever with. So, during the investigation she had won for him, Steve proposed. And she said YES!
