Yes! The Ceremony and Reception are both completely outdoors! September should be a beautiful month in Chelan!
In September, the average high is 75 degrees and average low is 51 degrees. But mountains are unpredictable, so it could be windy, smokey, hot, or chilly in the evening. Also be prepared for the sun to set behind the mountain around 530pm probably, even though it doesn't actually set until about 7pm.
There is a fair amount of parking on the residential streets of The Lookout. But do note the street located directly next to the ceremony location will be blocked off to limit traffic the day of the wedding. There should be plenty of other streets to park on. Anybody renting a house at The Lookout should be within walking distance, or you can move your car a little closer if you want.
The ceremony begins at 4:30pm. Please arrive about 15-20 minutes early.
323 Bluebell Lane Chelan, WA 98816
Our wish is to have a small and intimate wedding with our closest friends and family. Your invitation will identify if you were allotted a plus one.
Our reception will be on the upper area of the same location as the ceremony. No transportation needed!
Outdoor food, drinks, music, and dancing will finish at 9pm (ish).
There are tons of fun wineries to visit! Also, the lake temperature should be fairly warm this time of year, so renting a boat or jet skis are also a fun option! Or take the Lady of the Lake up to the town of Stehekin! There are some hikes in the area as well!
The Lookout has two pools, a hot tub, pickleball courts, a playground, a winery, a swim beach area, and a dock where you could paddleboard or kayak from. Not to mention the incredible views!!
Semi-Formal Attire. Tie and jacket optional. Grass can be soft so maybe rethink stilettos.
