Our Story

Isabella and Andrew's story began freshman year in Business Pre-Calculus at Baylor University. At first, the two were ordinary classmates. Until one day when Andrew walked in, smiled and gently asked how Bella's weekend was. It was such a simple question, but something about his kindness (and yes, how cute he was) made her brave enough to ask for his socials, and suggest they study together sometime. Between his quick-witted humor and his trusty Chegg account, what started as a small classroom moment quietly became the beginning of everything. Soon after, they finally made it official with their first date at Olive Garden - not exactly fine dining, but proof that when it's the right person, it doesn't really matter where you are. What mattered was how fun, easy, and sweet it felt. The next five years would stretch them in ways they never expected. Distance wasn't just inconvenient - it was painful. It meant tearful goodbyes, long drives home alone, missed celebrations, and nights when the miles felt overwhelming. There were seasons that tested their patience, their trust, and their strength. But in every hard moment, they chose each other again. More than anything, they chose to lean on their faith. Through constant prayer, hard conversations, and complete trust in God's timing, their relationship was built up, rather than broken down. When things felt uncertain, their shared faith reminded them that love rooted in Christ can endure distance, doubt, and growing pains. What could have pulled them apart instead drew them closer. On September 13th, in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, Andrew got down on one knee and asked Bella to spend forever with him - a moment filled with tears, gratitude, and the overwhelming realization that every goodbye, every prayer, and every hard season had led to that yes. Now, as they prepare for marriage and turn their new house into a home, they do so with full hearts. Their story isn't perfect - it's persevering. It's joyful. It's faith-filled. And by the grace of God, it's just getting started.
