Our story started in the most unexpected place, a 7-Eleven parking lot. One night, while I was out with friends, I noticed Luke’s car parked outside. It immediately caught my eye, because it was a bright red sports car, so I waited with my friends for him to come out so I could compliment it. Before he came outside, I had already taken a picture of his car. Once I got home, I posted the photo with the caption: “This car was cool and the guy that drove it was hot.” What I didn’t realize at the time was that one of Luke’s friends would see the post and send it to him. The next day, Luke reached out and asked me on a date to Topgolf the following weekend. Of course, I said yes. That first date turned out to be the beginning of everything. After that night, we started seeing each other almost every day. A simple compliment and a 7-Eleven parking lot turned into a conversation that never really ended.
