It all started with a swipe right in July 2020, when Hinge brought us together during a summer that changed everything. From the beginning, things felt easy—filled with laughter, connection, and a sense that something special was starting. Life took us on a little detour, and we hit pause for a bit, but in 2023, we found our way back to each other—and this time, we knew it was meant to be. Since then, we’ve been building a life we love. Ian proudly stepped into his role as cat dad to Puck and Harper (who quickly had him wrapped around their paws), and Kailey has embraced her role as a soon-to-be police wife—she is grateful every day to stand beside someone who serves with such courage and heart. Together, life has been full of laughter, love, and adventure ever since. On June 29, 2025, Ian proposed on the beach in LBI, with the ocean behind them and the people they loved nearby—it was a moment they will never forget. Now, they are so excited to return to the place where they got engaged to say “I do.” On September 20, 2026, they will be back in LBI, surrounded by our family and friends, ready to celebrate our forever with sand beneath our feet and love all around.
