Lord, Your plan is so good. May we abundantly glorify Your name each day as long as we both shall live. Romans 11:36 By the grace of God, we are able to look upon our forever together! We give all credit and thanks to Him for our upcoming marriage. The Lord has poured out His love into our lives and because of this, we are overjoyed to be entering into an unbreakable covenant between Him and each other. We look forward to what is to come and pray that our marriage reflects the beauty of God's unconditional love for us - a picture of self-sacrificial love in the service of one another. We pray that our marriage is steadfast, enduring through the hard seasons, and a reflection of what it means to have true, biblical satisfaction in God and one another. We aim to treasure Christ first as the greatest gift and understand that in order for our marriage to flourish, we must ultimately cherish Him above everything. We also want to express our gratitude for all the people in our lives who have wholeheartedly supported this covenant. Family and friends (& doggies), we would not be here today without you and so we thank God for gifting us each of you in our lives.
Slade and Lauren have had the privilege of knowing each other since we were only fifteen years old. Though we may have had a LITTLE bit of crush on each other in high school, we finally became official and started dating freshman year of college. Throughout our relationship, we have joyfully watched each other grow in the Lord, ultimately allowing Him to fill our lives with His goodness and mercy. Because of His grace, our relationship has flourished as we fall in love again and again each day. On the nineteenth of October, 2025, by the lake at Sunset Farms, Slade got down on one knee and asked Lauren to marry him. Of course, without a doubt, she said yes! Past, present, future, we have always been the one for each other. Thank you Jesus! We are humbled daily by gratitude to have found the love of our lives so young, and are hopeful to see what the Lord has in store for the rest of our future. No matter what, we are able to have complete satisfaction in Jesus Christ alone. We must now eagerly wait until the thirtieth of May, our special day where we may boldly confess our love to the whole world, finally gaining the honor of becoming husband and wife, and begin our happily ever after together! To Him be the glory forever and ever!
