Skylin and Chris both went to Shippensburg University, and while they knew each other, their paths rarely crossed throughout their college years. A few years after graduating, they ran into each other at a Bernie Sander's rally they were attending with mutual friends. There were instant sparks and after spending some time together at a music festival the following month, and learning how much they had in common, they became inseperable. They spoke almost all day, everyday for the remainder of the summer and drove back and forth between Philly & Lancaster every weekend to see each other. By spring, they were making plans to move in together. They moved into their first apartment outside of Manayunk in April, and not long after they found out they'd be welcoming a baby girl in December 2017! They've been on the fast track ever since; Chris asked Skylin to be his wife in December 2018, and in April 2019 they welcomed their second daughter. COVID derailed their initial plans, and they became husband and wife officially in August 2020, surrounded by their family and closest friends. Nearly a year later....they're so excited to finally have their big day and are so thankful you'll be able to celebrate with them! See you in August (2021)!
