While its not a formal wedding with the traditions of walking down the aisle etc, we will have our marriage license signed, do a toast and then celebrate. Since we are eloping, we still wanted to have a small event to celebrate and enjoy time with those who mean the most to us.
To RSVP, click the RSVP tab and type the name(s) listed on your envelope. Kindly RSVP before 8/1/25. If you are unable to attend, we would appreciate you letting us know at the soonest opportunity. Any RSVPs received after the date will be marked as a "no" as we will be sending final headcounts to vendors shortly after this deadline.
Due to limited capacity on our property, we are unable to accommodate plus ones unless it is specifically indicated on your envelope/RSVP. For example, your envelope would list "(your name) & Guest." For families, it will list "(your name) & Family" or "The (your last name) Family." When you RSVP, you will be able to see the exact number of people you can RSVP for.
Yes (ish)! We recognize that this is not a typical wedding thus semi-formal attire is not required. However, we hope that our guests can still come looking nice. Whether for woman that be a sun dress or something equivalent, and for men linen pants and collared shirt or button up top. Any of this would be perfect! No jeans or gym clothes please! If you're ever unsure, you can just ask one of us :)
Yes, when you go to RSVP you will be able to also accept the # of children you will be bringing.
Everything will be outdoors. There will be no true ceremony but we will sign the marriage license and commence the celebrating. There will be a tent with tables/chairs so people can stay out of the sun. We will also have some yard games etc for our guests. We will be on our lake property so there will be access to the indoors if required.
Yes. Although we dont have enough room for everyone in our driveway, there will be parking available right down the street at the park and church. If carpooling is an option we would recommend this both for parking and for having a DD later in the night to get home to your airbnb's.
We DO NOT want anyone drinking and driving. There are no ride-share apps available in this area. We advise everyone to have a planned designated driver.
We will be having food and dessert catered in for everyone. We plan to provide some alcohol (beer, wine & seltzers) but would advise that if you want something more specific than beer or seltzers to BYOB.
We have a registry attached to our website for all our guests. We recognize this is not a typical wedding, and do not expect gifts. But we will have a registry for those who wish to still send a gift.
No we have decided to not have a shower.
