We met at a friend's birthday party in 2016. We didn't think much of it at the time, just a possible new friend. As our friendship continued to develop, so did our connection!

We were cycling the entirety of the Blue Ridge Parkway (469 miles!), and we got to a nice resort in Little Switzerland - which was much needed after spending the night in freezing rain on the top of Mount Mitchell. That's where Nabu popped the question, to which Skyler said "Of course!"
