We decided to do a private ceremony in Crested Butte wildflowers on July 25, 2026 with just our parents and Hudson (our goldendoodle) as our witness! We still wanted to celebrate with everyone so please join us for our happily ever after party at the Hudson August 7th!
If you had told us years ago that the boy and girl sitting in the same second-grade classroom would one day be getting married, we probably would have laughed and never believed you. We grew up side by side, attending the same schools and even running cross country together in high school, but our story unfolded in its own time. Then, on June 8, 2020, everything changed when we started dating, and somehow six years have already flown by. From our first date watching the sunset and eating Emperor’s in the bed of the truck (covid times lol), to moving to Salina while Skyler finished school, bringing home Hudson just two weeks after settling into our first place together, and eventually making our way to Colorado Springs, we’ve built a life filled with laughter, adventure, and an abundance of love. Looking back, our favorite memories haven’t been the grand or extravagant ones. Instead, they’ve been found in the simple moments: watching the sunset, getting sno-cones, taking long bike rides, fishing, exploring new places, dreaming about our future, and coming home to Hudson at the end of the day. No matter where life has led us, we know that our greatest joy comes from simply being together. Now, after six incredible years, we’re beyond excited to begin our next chapter as husband and wife. We can’t wait to celebrate with the people we love most as we finally say, “I do.”
