I am from Oklahoma and Kenny is from Colorado. God brought us both to good ole Springfield, Missouri where we both attended Evangel University. The first week of our freshman year of college, our parents stayed in the same hotel. They happened to be checking out at the same time. They introduced each other and began to chat for hours realizing that Kenny and I were very similar. Our parents had told us both about each other. Kenny and I remember meeting face to face two different ways. Kenny says I asked him where something was and he fell in love with my smile. I remember meeting Kenny while walking with a friend and thinking he was so sweet. I remember seeing Kenny in personal finance and he would stare across the room! (TRUE STORY!) Kenny and I hung out several times and then one day, it hit me. I saw Kenny worshipping on stage in chapel and I felt God tug on my heart that Kenny was the one. I fell in love from them on. I patiently waited for Kenny to express his love to me before I said anything. Eventually, he did confess. Our first date was to a Chris August concert. It was so much fun. We ate Chipotle that night too! Haha! Kenny also almost ran a stoplight that night! But it was such a wonderful night that I wouldn’t trade for anything. Kenny asked me to be his girlfriend November 24th, 2015. It was the best day until April 13th, 2019 when he asked me to be his wife. Now I am super excited for June 12th, 2020 because that will be a DREAM! Being together is so wonderful! We always have fun, create new adventures, laugh together, cry together, and most importantly, have prayed together. With God in the center, our relationship has remained strong. We have seen each other in our worst of times! Yes! OUR WORST, yet, God made our relationship flourish through those times. I’m so excited to spend the rest of my life with my best friend. GOD, YOU, & ME!❤️ FOREVER & ALWAYS!❤️
