Like most great stories, it all started with a mimosa in Las Vegas. We stared into each others eyes over the 3 foot cocktail and harmonized Finesse by Bruno Mars. It was at that moment we knew two things, we both liked drinking and had good taste in music.
The year 2020 is seen as a sequence of horrifying events, and it truly was. We lost loved ones, experienced hardships and were tested on every level humanly possible. But through all of that our love was able to blossom. In a world of fear, uncertainty and chaos, we found a pure, honest and peaceful refuge in our love. Some call us a "Covid couple", we just call it blessed and highly favored.
From conversations grew genuine connection. From connection grew bliss. Bliss became plane tickets. Those plane tickets birthed a one-way trip towards forever. That moment we both knew we had found our "person" came over us like a wave. We were truly connected in love and life.
Hey gals and guys, Keiko here. So lets talk about the best day of my life (until the wedding of course). We planned a beautiful Saturday in Sonoma, full of wine and great views. Little did I know the surprise that was coming my way. Skyler Dominic is tricky, very smooth that man. He knew exactly how to get me. " Babe lets do a Tik Tok before we go in." (he hates making Tik Toks) Within seconds I had the tripod set up and timer going. Immediately after that he made it clear he wanted to document his first time in Sonoma, so we pushed the record button. After a short rambling he turned to me and asked me if he could have a "little bit of a lifetime?", got down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him. Needless to say my tears got in the way of my words, but a yes finally made its way through my lips. A magical moment that will replay in my mind forever. I love you Skyler Dominic Ward.
