When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by October 10, 2018. You can RSVP by visiting the "RSVP" tab of our wedding website.

Question

What is the dress attire for your wedding?

Answer

The attire for our wedding is "dressy-casual." We respectfully ask that you do not wear jeans.

Have you reserved hotel room blocks?

Answer

Yes. We have reserved hotel room blocks at the Best Western, Microtel and Econolodge. Hotel rooms blocks are under Stensrud-Rodewald Wedding.

Question

What should we do between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

Immediately following the ceremony the wedding party will be going to downtown New Ulm to enjoy a celebratory beer, please feel free to join us at the bar for a drink! Otherwise, you can go straight to the New Ulm Event Center where the reception will be held, and mingle until dinner.

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel?

Answer

No. There will not be a shuttle to or from the hotel. All of the hotels are within walking distance of our wedding reception at the New Ulm Event Center.

Are there any local places you’d recommend I visit while I’m in town?

Answer

We could recommend visiting Schell's Brewery, Morgan Creek Winery, Lola American Bistro (who will be catering our wedding) and the Hermann the German Monument if you have time. See the "Things To Do" tab on our wedding website for more details.

Can I take photos?

Answer

Yes, you can take photos. We simply ask that you keep your flash off and not interfere with the shots being taken by our wedding photographer. Use our wedding hashtag #MeetTheStensruds to share your pictures with us via social media.
