From the Hotel Vinache - A 10-15 walk depending on where you are going. From the Venue - Approximately 5 miles, short Uber ride. Feel free to come early or stay later. There's plenty to see and do to keep you occupied, especially if you like great music (Jazz Fest kicks off on October 8th), hearty food and enjoy the best of New Orleans signature drinks!
Great question! The French Quarter and Garden District can be reached via street car for about a dollar. An Uber takes about 15 minutes and can runs about $12 between the 2 areas. An Uber from the airport will cost a bit more, we've found renting cars in New Orleans is not worth the effort between the cost of hotel parking, paying for parking in a lot near the French Quarter or just driving in circles trying to find a spot. However, if you plan to do some sight seeing outside the French Quarter and your not going with a tour group you may find renting a car to be beneficial.
