Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Invitations will be made out as "bring a guest" if we are expecting you with a plus one. If not, please ask before you invite your guest.

Why can't I have my phone out during the ceremony? I just want to take pictures

Answer

The ceremony is "unplugged" therefore there will be no phones, cameras, video taping allowed by guests. We have hired a very skilled photographer to do this for us. We do not want a picture of you holding up your cell phone taking a Snapchat video... You will also be instructed to completely silence or turn off your cell phones prior to the ceremony, to prevent noice interruptions. Those who choose to ignore our preferences will by told to leave by an usher and will not be allowed at the reception. We really appreciate your compliance with this.

My invite didn't have my kids names on it, are we all invited?

Answer

The ceremony as well as reception is 12yr and older only. Please have a fun night off with us and leave your little ones at home with a sitter. If you choose to bring kids 12yr and older be aware our reception will have: drinking, smoking, and swearing.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Here on Zola, we have a cash fund set up and will have a jar at the reception too, to go towards buying our first home. A stabilizing life milestone is much more important to us than new appliances we may only use twice. So we would be grateful if you chose to give us a gift to help us with something that will bring our family together.
