Please RSVP no later than June 6th, 2026. We will need to finalize the headcount for our vendors, so we cannot be flexible on this date.
We've hit our venue cap thanks to good-ole' Irish Catholicism in Audrey's family and Skyler's extensive social skills, so we are unable to extend plus-ones to anyone who did not have one available on their RSVP. Thank you for your understanding.
Yes, Zola allows you to view and edit your RSVP details. Please note that we will be unable to make any changes after June 6th and editing will be turned off after that point.
Yes, it really is! Skyler has been vegetarian his whole life, and Audrey has been for over 10 years. There will be plenty of delicious food and drink available throughout the reception.
Yes! Follow your bliss 🫰🏻
Yes, both the ceremony and the reception will be taking place at The St. Paul College Club.
Yes! There will be shuttles to and from the St. Paul Hotel before the ceremony and following the reception. These shuttles will be available for guests whether they're staying at St. Paul Hotel or not–so if you're staying nearby, feel free to use them!
There is plenty of street parking around the venue; there is not a dedicated parking area or valet service at the venue. If you require accommodations for parking or drop off, please note this on your RSVP or email us at mccarthyschwendeman@gmail.com.
Yes–there are two sets of four stairs leading into the front entrance, but the rear entrance is stair-free and can be found by going up the driveway to the left of the building. There are stairs inside the building, but no stairs on the first floor where the ceremony and reception will take place. There are accessible restrooms on the first floor.
Plan A is to have the ceremony outdoors at the College Club. Please note that the ceremony will be on grass, so stilettos are not recommended. If it looks like heat or rain will be an issue, the ceremony will be inside. The decision will not be finalized until the day prior.
The venue is air conditioned, and although the house is historic, the air conditioning was updated in the last few years. Please note that the ceremony will likely be held outside.
Please do! We will have two professional photographers capturing the day and have a few Instamax Mini polaroid cameras available for you to use throughout the cocktail hour and reception. We ask that you please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, but please feel free to take pictures with your phone or a camera at any other time. Please share any photos you take here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/16YeG1vC5bLSK01522UhCQ1XvttJjQvYe?usp=sharing
We first met at a party at St. Olaf in May 2018 and started dating the following summer. St. Olaf claims to have one of the highest rates of alumni marriages in the country–neither of us ever attended that school, but feels like they should get a point for this one. Funnily enough, Skyler's twin brother Soren and his fiancee Jess did both attend St. Olaf, but didn't start dating until they matched on Hinge after graduating.
In order to represent each of our families equally, we've chosen to hyphenate: Heise-Schwendeman-McCarthy. Jkjk but can you imagine? I literally don't know if that would fit on government documents. We're each keeping our own last names.
We're going to Akumal, Mexico, to a resort that is literally the highest rated hotel in the world on trip advisor (Secrets Akumal Riviera Maya)–Skyler was very excited about that fact. We'll let you know if it lives up to the hype!
