We’re Getting Married!

This story begins from a simple DM that Skyler sent Ashlea on the dating app TAIMI. From there they began to message each other on the social media app Instagram. They then decided to go out on a date. After the first date they wanted to have another soon, but life had other plans. Skyler had a family member pass away then soon after that the pandemic started and they no longer had the opportunity for that second date. In result, the two had to settle for texts, phone calls and FaceTime dates. After about a month, the two decided that they would break the quarantine guidelines so that they could finally see each other in person again. April 9 was the day Ashlea went over to visit Sky and the two have never been apart since. That date is very significant because it is also the day that Skyler’s father had passed away. Both believe that they were brought together on that day for a special reason. Then one year later during a trip to Hawaii, Ashlea asked Skyler to marry her and the two are now engaged! With love and joy the pair hope to share their union with all their family and friends on the beautiful island of Curaçao!
