The wedding is formal or semi-formal attire. This includes suites for men and long/below-the-knee formal dresses, cocktail dresses, or dressy pantsuits for women.
There is a parking lot just across the street from the venue that is free for our guests. It is located on the corner of N. Edwards Street and E. Michigan Ave. If for some reason this lot fills up, there is a parking garage behind the venue, but this is not free to park at.
Yes, we are able to drive up behind the venue in the Haymarket ally to drop off guests, and guests are also allowed to temporarily park on the street to drop people off at the front entrance.
Yes, the venue is all on one floor and is wheelchair/handicap accessible.
Yes, the ceremony and reception are both indoors at the Desenberg in downtown Kalamazoo, MI.
Children are allowed at the ceremony and reception, but we do ask that they are respectful. Additionally, this event will have alcohol served after 4:00pm accompanied by loud, explicit music, so please account for this.
We ask that you refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony, but you are more than welcome to take photos after the ceremony and any time during the reception!
No, you may not bring any outside food and drink to the venue (besides water).
