Lulu and Skylee have been best friends since kindergarten. Skylee has always been able to rely on Lulu, and even though they are now geologically very far apart (she attends McGill University in Canada!) their bond remains the same. Lulu is driven, attentive, caring, hardworking, insanely talented in several fields, crazy smart, beautiful, the list could go on forever. While Skylee and Lulu have always been (and probably always will be) polar opposites, Skylee couldn’t imagine anyone else standing by her side on her big day.
Shannon Choi
Bridesmaid
Shannon and Skylee have known each other since the 6th grade, and have grown very close over the past few years. They lived together when they first moved down to San Diego from the Bay Area, and have supported each other with work, school, and relationships. Shannon has a heart of gold, and Skylee couldn’t ask for a better bridesmaid.
Sofia Vanderlaan
Bridesmaid
Skylee absolutely adores Sofia. She has the greatest sense of humor, the kindest spirit, and Skylee has described her numerous times as a “literal ray of sunshine.” While they officially met in the fifth grade, they became good friends in the end of high school and have remained close ever since. When Skylee was assembling her team of bridesmaids, she knew that Sofia needed to be up there.
Becky Brown
Bridesmaid
Becky and Skylee first met when they walked each other down the aisle for their 8th grade graduation, so it only seems fitting that she helps Skylee walk down the aisle to her soon-to-be husband. Becky is the most passionate, sincere and loving person Skylee knows, and she knew she needed Becky there to support her on her big day.
Jamie Fryberger
Bridesmaid
Jamie and Skylee met at Plato’s Closet, where they both worked for too long. They’ve had several sleepovers, girls nights out, and (semi) enjoying the talent at open mic nights, but mainly showing up for the company. She is sweet, kind, and a reliable friend. Skylee is grateful to have her by her side on her big day.
Jessica Pollard
Mother of the Bride
Jessica Pollard is the kindest woman in the world, with the purest heart, and a passion for plants. Skylee is so beyond grateful to have her as her mother, and credits so much of who she is today to the woman she was raised by. Skylee loves her mom with her whole heart and sees her as one of her best friends.
Eddie Pollard
Father of the Bride
Eddie Pollard is the greatest dad in the entire world, (at least in Skylee’s opinion anyway.) His creativity and unique perspectives have inspired Skylee in countless ways, and she traces her critical thinking patterns and loving point of view back to him. Whenever something is going wrong with her car, she wants an honest movie review, or she just wants to talk about the mysteries of the universe, he is the first person she calls. Skylee could add reasons why she loves her dad forever, but she’s chosen to summarize it to: she’s truly blessed and eternally grateful to have been raised by him, and she wouldn’t be the woman she is today without him.
