Ryley and I met at Harry’s in College Station on April 9th, 2022. We were both there with groups of friends. I was with a Bible study group, and Ryley with a group from Revelation Outdoors. I had seen Ryley in the corner of my eye and then all of a sudden he extended his arm out to dance. We danced to two songs, exchanged a lot of words that were drowned out by the loud music and then parted ways. A little while later, we bumped into each other again at the water station. From there we walked together to an area where we could talk some more and ended up talking the rest of the night. I was completely giddy inside! Not long after, we had our first date playing tennis and grabbing dinner at Piada afterwards. As our relationship grew, so did our love for Jesus and our desire to walk through life together. It’s been a story of answered prayers, deep friendship, and God’s kindness and mercy in the little details. We’ve shared so many sweet moments—long conversations, adventures, and countless memories where we’ve seen the Lord drawing our hearts closer together. Looking back, we can clearly see how intentional God has been in writing our story. From a random night in college station to committing the rest of our lives to each other, we are overwhelmed with gratitude for the way God brought us together. He’s used our relationship to stretch us, refine us, and show us more about who He is and his character. Now, we’re counting down the days to becoming husband and wife! We cannot wait for November 22 and to celebrate with all of you, family and friends who have supported, encouraged, and prayed for us along the way. Our hope and prayer is that our marriage would reflect Christ’s love and bring Him glory in every season to come. Thank you for being part of our story.
