The wedding will take place on the beach, weather permitting at approximately 5:30pm. Please feel free to slip off your shoes for the beach ceremony or bring along a pair of beach sandals. Please plan to arrive before 5:30 pm to allow time to park and be seated without disrupting the ceremony.
The photographer has requested that guests refrain from taking photos of any sort (phone, etc.) during the ceremony to ensure she is able to best capture the special nature of the ceremony.
Please reference the travel page of this website for information about lodging. Note, we have not blocked any rooms. Therefore, if you are planning to attend, RSVP early and book your lodging as soon as possible. Most of the lodging locations are within a short drive to the event venue. As well, if you are interested in booking a cottage in the area, you can research via airb&b or Vrbo .
Free valet parking is available on site at the Galilee Beach Club. There will be 2 valets as well as a police officer on duty. Please note that RI observes speed limits and DUIs closely so plan accordingly and drink responsibility and have a designated driver. There will be no group transportation provided to area lodging.
Temperatures during the day range between 61 and 73 F. Those temperatures will drop in the evening to the low to mid 60s. Since the venue is located directly on the beach, there is often a cool breeze. Please bring a light jacket or sweater so that you can moderate your comfort.
Immediately following the ceremony, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served on the deck at the Galilee Beach Club from 6 - 7 pm. At 7 pm, we will move inside and dinner service will begin.
We would like you to RSVP as soon as you receive your invitation so that we have enough time to work with our caterer to finalize menu selections. If we do not hear back from you before May 14, we will make the assumption that you are unable to join us for the celebration. You can RSVP on this website and make a meal selection for each guest! If you prefer, you can call Colleen Scott at 203-841-6938 to RSVP and make your meal selection.
We have registered on Zola.com and target.com. Links to both registries can be found on this website.
