We met on bumble during the midst of covid and talked for a year on snapchat, then finally on New Year's Eve 2020-Skylar asked to take me out on our first date. He was living in the Rio-Grande Valley at the time and I was in San-Antonio, I thought this man was crazy wanting to come all the over there to take me out on New Years day. The next day comes and I'm so nervous of what he will think since we had only talked on the phone. At last, he picked me up and I met Brady and Chandler (his dogs), who are now my forever fur babies. We had the first date in downtown SA, where we walked the riverwalk and had dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe. During dinner our connection grew stronger, we laughed and shared our passions. It felt like a dream, he let me be myself and saw me for me. Sparks were flying all night-giving us a sense of what was to come. We started 2021 together, just us-both growing and learning with one other until death do us part.
