We chose Mars Hill for our wedding because it holds such a special place in both of our hearts. Jeremy is from Monticello, so this area has always felt like home to him. As for me, I spent my summers as a kid coming up here to attend Christian camps, and those memories have always stayed with me. Mars Hill offers the perfect combination of natural beauty, small-town charm, and deep personal connections for us. From the stunning mountain views to the peaceful, welcoming community, we knew it would be the ideal place to celebrate our love and start our new chapter together.

Is there a dress code?

"Colorful Elegance" invites you to celebrate with style by blending bold, vibrant colors with a refined, sophisticated look. Here’s what we’re envisioning: Colorful: Bright, cheerful hues are encouraged! This could include pastel shades, rich jewel tones, or even fun pattern dress or jumpsuits! For men: stay classy with a bright and colorful suit or button up dress shirt. Bright ties or pocket squares! Also no white please! We kindly ask you to leave the political merchandise at home.

Will there be alcohol?

There will be a cash bar available at the event. We kindly ask that all guests over the age of 21 bring their ID for verification. Please note that bringing your own alcohol (BYOB) will not be permitted.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
Yes, children are absolutely welcome at our wedding! We love the idea of having little ones join in on the celebration. However, if your child is not listed on the invitation, we kindly ask that you send a quick message to Skylar letting us know there will be an extra guest in your party. This helps us ensure we have enough space and accommodations for everyone. Please note that at 9:00 PM, we’ll be transitioning to more adult-friendly music, so we just wanted to give you a heads-up in case you need to make any arrangements for your little ones at that time. Thank you for understanding, and we look forward to celebrating with your entire family!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?
Answer
Yes, we absolutely want everyone to enjoy the meal at our wedding! If you or anyone in your party has a food allergy or dietary restriction, please let us know as soon as possible. We kindly ask that you reach out to us directly to inform us of any special requests, and we will do our best to accommodate. The sooner we know, the better, so we can make sure to have safe and delicious options available for you. Thank you for letting us know in advance!
