Question

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will definitely be missed! If you can not attend our wedding, please indicate "will NOT attend" on your RSVP so we can plan accordingly. If you have already RSVP'd "attending", but find that you will not make it, Please notify Carlton or Skylar as soon as you are aware.

Question

What if I don't RSVP on time?

Answer

If you do not RSVP by October 5th , you will be marked as "not attending". We would love to celebrate with you, however, we have to provide an exact guest count to our venders and cannot accept late RSVP's.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited capacity, we are only able to accommodate those formally invited. If you received a plus one it will be addressed on your invitation and RSVP card. Thank you for Understanding!

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We love your little ones, we really do! However, we have decided to keep our ceremony and reception an adults-only event with the exception of children that are in the bridal party. We encourage you to use this night as a fun date night! We appreciate you making prior arrangements so you can celebrate with us.

Question

Where should I stay for the weekend?

Answer

We thank you wholeheartedly for traveling to celebrate with us! Please visit our "travel" tab to see hotels in the area. Those listed with a block option are offering a discounted rate when you call and book under "Voak Wedding"!

Question

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be held outdoors under a covered patio with heating if necessary. The reception will take place inside the venue.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us! The event will have a formal dress code. Ladies may wear midi, cocktail, or floor length dresses. Gentlemen may wear slacks and button down shirt with tie. Please no short-sleeve shirts, jeans, sneakers, and no white. We prefer black or any other dark colors, but its not required!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

A time for the ceremony will be given on your formal invite and we ask that you arrive and be in your seat NO LATER THAN 30 minutes before the ceremony starts. You may arrive earlier than 30 minutes and it will give you time to park, sign the guest book, and find your seat. If you arrive after the ceremony has already started, you will not be able to be seated and will have to wait until cocktail hour to enter.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This means we are asking all phones and other devices be put away and on silent/turned off during our ceremony so that all guests can be fully present with us during this time. After the ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos as you want and we promise to share our ceremony photos as soon as possible!

Question

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes! There will be an open bar! We ask that you be patient and respect our bartender.

Question

Answer

The greatest gift of all is your presence on our special day! However, should you wish to contribute to our honeymoon, we have a registry tab on our website and a card can be dropped in the card box at the reception.
