FAQs

Question

What about COVID??

Answer

Good News! NY has lifted all COVID restrictions. It is still encouraged that you wear a mask if you have yet to be vaccinated, but otherwise no masks are required.

Question

What is the Dress Code?

Answer

Wedding Attire!

Question

What happens if it rains?

Answer

In the event of rain, the ceremony will be moved to the tent outside of the wedding venue.

Question

What type of shoes should I wear?

Answer

Great question! Since our wedding is outdoors, we recommend wearing comfortable yet snazzy shoes that you are able to move with ease on the grass.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely. Just let us know as soon as possible, and note it on your RSVP card.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered through Zola. The link is under the Registry tab.

Question

Where are you going on your honeymoon?

Answer

We are going to VEGAS!! 🤩

Question

Can I take my own photos?

Answer

Yes absolutely! However, please do not step into the isle at the ceremony or get all up in the photographers way during important moments. Our photographer is absolutely amazing and as soon as we get our photos we will share them with all of you. So if you do take iPhone photos just please be mindful of where you are taking your picture.

Question

Is there going to be a garter toss and a bouquet toss?

Answer

No and No. We would much rather spend the night dancing and having fun with friends and family. We don't want you all to have to watch Brian awkwardly take a piece of fabric off Skylar's sweaty leg and throw it at single men. Also, by virtue of our guest list, we don't have enough single ladies to do a bouquet toss. The bouquet and a nifty gift will go to a wonderful woman of Skylar's choosing.

Question

What is for dessert?

Answer

I am happy you asked! Being that dessert is one of Skylar's favorite things in the whole world (besides Brian) there will be a variety of different desserts to chose from. Cookies, pies, cakes, tarts, smores and more will all be available to you! :)
