We met in the fall of 2018 when our mutual friend, Jordan Shearing, invited CJ to our apartment for a party. We had just met when CJ asked Skylar if she wanted to see a card trick (yes, that was his opening move). Surprisingly, it worked. What started as a simple trick turned into a night spent talking and laughing together. We connected right away and ended up spending the entire evening getting to know each other. That night marked the beginning of our relationship, and we’ve been together ever since.
