We’ve Tied the Knot, Now Let’s Celebrate!

Our journey together didn’t start with a grand romantic moment or a whirlwind of emotions. Instead, it began with a friendship that spanned over a decade. We knew each other for years, but life took us in different directions, and we lost touch for a while. In June of 2024, after years of not seeing each other, we reconnected. Peter likes to remind me that he showed up in a collared shirt - he was on a mission, even if I was oblivious at the time. Our first reconnection sparked something neither of us expected. We spent hours talking, laughing, moments of crying, and catching up on everything we’d missed in each other’s lives. It didn’t take long for us to see each other in a completely new light—beyond just friends, it felt like more. A few weeks later, we hiked at Robbers Cave, and that was the turning point. As we walked, we shared our wins, our losses, and everything in between. That drive back from Robbers Cave is still one of the most memorable moments of both of our lives. We were both going through a tough season, feeling distant from God, yet somehow, we felt His presence more strongly than ever before. It was that drive, that moment, that marked the beginning of something holy and sacred. We had been praying for each other, in detail. God provides, God heals, and God restores. Our story is a testimony of His goodness. Our love story is something neither of us saw coming, but we both welcomed it in faith with open arms. On March 14th, 2025, we eloped in the stunning Mount Falcon, CO, just the two of us and God. It was a quiet, intimate moment where we made vows to each other in the presence of something far greater than ourselves. We chose to keep it private, not because we didn’t want to share our love, but because we wanted it to be about the commitment we were making before God as we start our journey in life together. Plus, where better to share this moment than in the mountains? But now, we’re excited to celebrate with all of you. We’re thrilled to share our love story and our vows with the people who have supported us and stood by us throughout our journey, as a couple and as supporters to us each personally.
