We had gone to Colorado as a graduation gift from Jan (bride's mom), and Jordan had mentioned going hiking. I knew that sounded fishy, because if anyone knows Jordan he is not the outdoorsy type. So we went out to Evergreen, Colorado and found a trail. When we got there, someone warned us it was mountain lion season, so along with that fun news it was also beginning to storm! Jordan was kind of rushing me along the trail, until finally we noticed we were the only ones out there anymore and got spooked. We turned around the way we came, and were really hustling back towards the car until Jordan pointed to this giant rock and said, "Hey, let me take your picture on that rock!" Once again, if you know Jordan, he is not the picture taking guy and plus he had been rushing me back to the car this whole time! I said, "okay sure, I guess if you want to..." and climbed to the top of the rock. He started taking pictures and then said "Hold on, let me take some from behind you!" So he climbs up on the rock and I look away as he starts taking more pictures finally I look back wondering how many he was going to take, and notice he is kneeling (very painfully I might add) on the rock and almost in tears. He said some very sweet words, which I can't remember, because I basically blacked out when he pulled out the ring and that was that!
