Jed and I both grew up in northern Idaho, going to the same places and seeing the same people.. just never meeting. He went to school and youth group with my cousins and worked with my aunt. I started working at the Coeur d’Alene Resort as a hostess in the fall when I was 16 and there is where I saw the most handsome pantry chef ever, Jed. We only worked an eye shot away from each other, and the flirting never stopped. He eventually asked me to go snowboarding with him and a few of our other coworkers, of course I said yes! When he asked me where I lived so he could pick me up in the morning we realized we were only a few blocks away from each other. The next morning when he picked me up to go snowboarding, he had a warm mocha and kicked the boys into the back so I could sit next to him. We listened to country music and drove up the mountain. It was my second time ever going snowboarding and I didn’t know how to do most things that day. He showed me so much patience, chivalry, and kindness. That was the day my heart melted for him and 6 years and so much love and growth later, here we are getting married!
