The Cathedral (ceremony + reception) is about a 10 minute ride share from downtown Austin. So, we recommend staying downtown or near downtown. There are plenty of hotel and Airbnb options. You can't go wrong.
We reserved a room block at the Marriott Downtown and the Hampton Inn Suites. These hotels are across the street from one another. There also dozens of other hotels in walking distance. If you have questions about where to stay or run into any difficulties, please call us!
We highly recommend staying in the downtown area or between downtown and the venue as this is close to all the fun stuff to do, the airport, and most importantly, us!
Uber and Lyft are very easy and affordable from the airport and around the downtown area so a car rental is not required, but up to you.
