What do we wear?

Answer

Our theme is Formal Western! Please look through this pinterest board to get some ideas: https://pin.it/5xHl3bkuG We want you to be comfortable in whatever you decide to wear, but please do not wear white, ivory, or any other variations of this color, in respect to the bride. If western ware is not your thing, that is totally fine! Please come in business casual attire, but remember it is early June in Sonoma County, CA which means the mornings can be cloudy in the morning and mild 70's or it can be blistering 80+ degrees. Please keep this in mind and have options for both!

What are the closest airports?

Answer

The closest airport is STS airport in Windsor - this is a very small airport that has direct flight from Seattle WA, Boise ID, Las Vegas NV, and other areas! - This airport is more expensive then flying into larger airports and we would only recommend if you have a short direct flight. The next recommendation is SFO (San Fransisco) or OAK (Oakland). - SFO is a much larger airport but typically has more flights - Groome Transport also picks up from SFO directly and will drop you off at multiple stops throughout Sonoma County including Petaluma and at the Rohnert Park Doubletree Hotel. - OAK is an easier airport to navigate both driving wise and checking in/baggage claim. Jonathan and I prefer to fly from and into OAK and it also sometimes has cheaper flights depending on the season. We do not recommend flying into Sacramento or San Jose Airport as both of these can be up to 3 hours from Sonoma County.

Where should we stay?

Answer

Please visit our "Where to stay tab" for a list of preferred hotels! We are not booking blocks in any hotels but all hotels on the list come highly recommend from our vendors, us and range in price. We also recommend searching through local AirBNB as surrounding areas have a lot of beautiful guest homes to rent. This could be a fun opportunity to stay in beautiful Bodega Bay, Guernville, Napa, Saint Helena, or Calistoga. If you do this we recommend getting a rental car as some of these areas are a little far to uber around - but if you are traveling with your family getting an airbnb may be a better option for those wanting to eat at home or do not want to get multiple hotel rooms!

Can we bring our kids?

Answer

Yes! When RSVPing, please be sure to include your child(ren) in your response so we can plan accordingly for seating and meals - if you are trying to RSVP and you are unable to include your children please reach out to us directly so we can correct this! This is a family oriented wedding, but, we will have an open bar, explicit music, and adult only activities. It is your responsibility to watch over little ones as we WILL NOT have any sitting services - please do not expect anyone, including members of the bride/groom party to watch over or be sensitive to children. Please note that during the ceremony we request any child who is adverse to sitting in a seat or remaining quiet will need to be removed from the service so other guests and the bride and groom can focus on the union ceremony. If this rule is not followed you will be asked to remove yourself until dinner and cocktail hour. We understand children will be children but please respect this request so we may enjoy all members of our family.

Can I bring a plus one or spouse?

Your invitation will indicate if you have a plus one. If a plus one is included, please be sure to list their name when you RSVP so we can plan accordingly for seating and meals. If you’re unsure whether you have a plus one, feel free to reach out, and we’d be happy to clarify! We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
