Ruth Burdeen DiGiammarino

Paternal Grandmother of the Groom

Macy Lynn Burdohan

Sister of the Groom

My sister Macy is the best sister I could have asked for. She is very nice and always there when I need her. I remember when we all used to live together and how much of a hell-raiser she was: always getting up to something. Today she is a great mother to her son and still the greatest sister I could ask for.

Father Zachary Kwalec

Officiant

Caitlin Nicole Rauch

Mate of Honor

Caitlin and I met sleeping on the concrete outside of Beaver Stadium trying to Nittanyville (read: Paternoville) for the Newman club. It rained all night and the next morning everyone gave up on it anyway but we at least stuck the night out. Countless nights were spent walking home from the faith center together and standing on the corner just talking. Since we graduated we usually spend one night a month and talk for hours as if we never spent time apart. When I had to pick my mate(s) of honor, there's no one else I'd rather pick!

Maxwell Benjamin Hymes

Best Man

I met my friend Maxwell Hymes back in the good old days of Smite: Battlefield of the Gods. Max and a few other of our friends would hop on and play Smite nightly and from there our friendship grew to something great. A year after we started hanging out, we started a Dungeons and Dragons campaign. Once a week we would gather and role play as our characters and Max would be the story teller. Last year Maxwell honored me with asking me to be in his wedding party and their wedding was great. Now I'm happy to spend one of my happiest moments with him.

Alexis Marie Sklack

Mate of Honor

They say as you get older, you get closer to your siblings and the relationship between Lexi and myself is proof of nothing else. From fighting constantly when we shared a room as kids, we've definitely grown up and much closer. It's been a pleasure to see them come into their own as they have navigated the early stages of adulthood (not that I'd call myself an adult). Now we have a great time talking about life or girls or whatever else is going on and there was really no other way to have our wedding but to have them as a Co-Mate of Honor.

Christopher "Rick" Keith Avant

Groomsman

I met Rick while I was still in High School Mutual friends invited me to his house once to play board games and I instantly became better friends with him than the guys that introduced us. We went on to do a board game day at his parents house often where a few of our friends. Today Rick and I are Warhammer buddies with Steve and a growing number of others. Rick has always been a great friend to me and I'm excited for him to be one of my groomsmen.

Donald Lee Atz

Bridesmate

Donnie and I met in Newman when he (finally) transferred from the Beaver Campus to Main. We found our kinship in not ascribing to the typical Newman Catholic mindset. Senior year we lived only a floor apart which usually lead to him showing up in my dorm room unexpectedly to tell me about something that just happened to him. That or coming over almost nightly to catch up on SNL or watch Will and Grace. Donnie and I talk nearly daily about politics or history or current affairs and he is still Will Truman in my phone to this day.

Christopher Michael Burdohan

Groomsman

Growing up, my brother and I used to share a room and the amount of times I wished to be left alone and he would come barging in to mess with me I lost track of. All joking aside, Christopher is the best big brother I could ask for. Chris and I play games together where I usually have to remind him of his smooth brain and show him why I always win. Chris is also one of the few people left on this planet that would still play Starcraft with me even knowing he will lose even before the game boots up.

Jenna Elizabeth Cramer

Bridesmate

Jenna has known Justin since before any of us even joked about getting married. The first time we met was nearly a year into my dating Justin but meeting someone who's hair was my favorite color instantly tipped me off that we would be great friends. Jenna now works with me at Target and seeing her regularly has been a real blessing (though our wild shopping adventures may not have been a real blessing to my wallet). I'm so grateful I met Jenna and that she can be a part of our special day.

Dakota "Steve" Lee Caynor

Groomsman

I met Steve while I was still in high school through our friend Rick (Chris). We would get together once in a while to do a board game day. Most of the time, we would head to Rick's house bright and early with pizza and just play some board games with a bunch of our friends. Now Steve and I are Warhammer buddies where he can beat me with just a role of the dice. Steve is a great friend and I'm so glad he agreed to be a part of our special day.

Adrianna Jaqueline Hymes

Bridesmate

One of the first things Justin told me about his friends was about his best friends Max and Ethan and how Max had been with AJ since their high school years. We met on a double bowling date at Akron Bowl and have continued to spend some great times all hanging out at their house and playing Dungeons and Dragons together. But best of all has been the Girls Nights with Jenna as we spend some well deserved girl time away from out significant others.

Ethan Michael Oxford

Groomsman

I also met my friend Ethan Oxford back in the good old days of Smite: Battlefield of the Gods. I really enjoyed playing Smite every night with Ethan. It was a great time for us to become friends. As our friendship grow we started to play Dungeons and Dragons where we would get together once a week with some friends and role play as our characters. Now Ethan and I live right down the road from each other and can still make each other laugh without even trying.

Jessica Alexis Reynolds

Bridesmate

Of all these crazy people there had to be one Musical Theater friend and Jessie is that and more. We also met through Newman and quickly banded together with Donnie, Caitlin and the rest of the Heathens as we navigated the other Newmanites. Jessie and I still talk regularly when there's big Broadway news and share when we find a song or show we think the other will like.

Austin James Sklack

Groomsman

Austin is my soon-to-be new brother-in-law and I am very proud to add him to my family. Austin is a very kind hearted and hardworking person who just wants the best for everyone. I enjoy talking about video games and anime with him whenever we come to visit and he's always been very welcoming to me. I am very happy to spend this special day with him.
