Charles (aka Skip) is not only the Best Man but is Tyrus' father. To this day, he wouldn't be the man that he is if it wasn't for all of the support and life lessons that he has passed on to him. He has always envisioned his father to be his Best Man in his wedding and cannot wait for the day to have him by his side.
Kathryn Lomuscio
Matron of Honor
As Emily’s older sister, Kathryn has always looked out for her whether Emily asked for it or not. Sharing a room for 14 years allowed them to learn how to handle the good and the challenging aspects of each other. Now, they are close friends and sisters. Kathryn is smart, kind, funny, strong, well spoken and intentional. All things she instilled into both of her daughters. She is a loving wife, fierce advocate of people and is currently finishing up her Master of Divinity at Fuller. She and her family moved to Honolulu, HI in 2021 where she has since lost her ability to cope without a sweatshirt when the temperature drops below 75 degrees. Despite the distance between them, Kathryn will always be a big part of Emily’s life.

Garrett and Tyrus have known each other since middle school but didn't start hanging out until his freshman year of college. What started out as classmates helping each other out with college Algebra turned into a lifelong friendship. He is his best friend and wouldn't have it any other way with him being a groomsmen.
Jessica Strickland

Jessica entered Emily’s life by marriage, but over the years she has become her sister. She is kind, compassionate, supportive and often times silly. She has an adventurous spirit but her heart is at home with her boys (including Emily’s brother) and her animals. She has a passion for her horses, their new farm, and instilling a love for the outdoors into her son’s lives. They’ve walked through many things over the years and Emily is so thankful for their friendship.

Tyrus' friendship with Thomas has grown over the last few years after getting to know him through Garrett's wife, Sarah. The friendship started with a shared love for board games . He has always been someone you count on to look for the positive things in life and help out in any way that he can.
Elliot Lomuscio

Elliott is Emily’s first niece. She loves her puppies, reading, playing the violin, asking good questions, making people laugh and riding rollercoasters! She takes on the world and new experiences with more confidence than one would imagine a 12 year old would do.
Andrew Strickland
Groomsman
Andrew is Emily’s younger brother. Although he acts like an overprotective brother, he has accepted Ty warmly into the family. It has been a sweet experience for Emily to watch the friendship between Tyrus and Andrew form. Andrew has always had big dreams and it is exciting to see him starting to live them out. He enjoys sharing his new farm and outdoor toys with family and friends.

Grey is Emily’s youngest niece. She has always been told that she takes after Emily... and they aren't wrong. But despite their similarities, Grey has always made her own mark in the world. She has a flare for the dramatic and equal compassion for others. Her wit and laughter is contagious and she brightens up each room she walks in to. No one can match her love and enthusiasm of all things zebra.

Riley is Emily’s oldest nephew.His big eyes made a place for him in her heart immediately. His quiet and observant personality allows him to see the world in a different way. He loves playing video games, board games, working on puzzles, camping and being with his family. He is a great big brother to his two younger brothers and loves spending time with his cousins!
Logan Strickland

Logan is Emily’s second nephew. He has always been the charmer of the family. He is outgoing, funny, loves to play video games, and board games. He gives some of the best hugs too!
Bryson Strickland

Bryson is Emily’s youngest nephew. He is the last of the 5 but has a ton of personality in that small body. He loves to play with his brothers and help his mom and dad on the farm. He has great facial expressions and loves to talk!
Michael Lomuscio
Officiant
Michael is Emily’s brother-in-law and soon to be Tyrus’ as well. Emily met Michael when she was 13 years old. Since be became a part of her family, she has considered Michael to be her older brother. Tyrus and Michael have built a friendship that will continue to grow as they become family. When thinking of an officiant, Tyrus and Emily wanted to have someone who knows both of them and who will continue to be a part of their future. They are excited to have Michael as their officiant!

Stephanie and Emily met through her sister, Kathryn, in 2013 at Elliott's 2nd birthday party. Kathryn insisted that they would be great friends and she wasn't wrong! Whether Emily needs a shoulder to cry on or someone to ask the hard questions, Emily knows that she can always count on Stephanie to step into whatever is needed. She is Emily’s outdoor loving, adventure seeking, best hug giving friend. Stephanie and her husband started their adventure in Colorado with their dog last year. She loves beating everyone in Monopoly Deal, losing to Emily at Catan and sharing her wealth of knowledge at trivia!
Amy Cruz

Emily and Amy met while she was living in Gainesville, GA in 2012. Now, they are close friends who have shared a ton of life with each other over the past 11 years. Amy is a strong, supportive and loving friend who is always there to encourage and provide straight forward advice when Emily needs it. She is a loving wife, mom, foster mom, a mega fan of the Georgia Bulldogs and has dreams of becoming a nurse midwife. There is a 6 year age gap between Emily and Amy and STILL people think they are twins. Can you guess who is older? ;)
Brianna Goodwin

Brianna and Emily met at Georgia Southern University in 2006. Brianna initially started out as Emily’ s freshman year small group leader but quickly turned into a forever friend. Her infectious smile, warm heart, ambition, adventurous spirit and her love for Jesus have always impressed Emily. Even through many moves across the country they still make time to stay connected. Brianna is an artist, fellow enneagram 7, adventurer, amazing mother of 3, loving wife, competitive board gamer and is a published author!
Catherine Gartrell

Emily met Catherine while living in Kennesaw, GA in 2017. What started as a “you should meet each other” friendship turned into 6 years of travel, days spent kayaking, car karaoke, laughter and long conversations.They have been through much during their friendship and Emily is thankful to have such a loyal and strong friend in her life. Catherine loves all things Tolkien and Harry Potter. You should test her knowledge!
