If arriving at JFK, there's cheaper travel options by subway or Train (and is often faster than a cab or rideshare option) but this is not recommended if you fly in late at night. Either way, you'll have to take the AirTrain (a monorail) then pay $8.50 to exit JFK. Long Island Railroad (~45min): You can take the Jamaica AirTrain to Jamaica then catch the LIRR to to the Atlantic Terminal. This is a 9 minute walk from Threes Brewing. Subway + Bus (~1hr): Take the AirTrain to Howard Beach then walk 2 min. to the Metro Transit Authority A, C stop. Take the A train to Hoyt-Schermerhorn then B103 bus going downtown towards the 4th Ave & Warren Street. This bus stop is a 3 min. walk from Threes Brewing.

LaGuardia is the easiest for domestic flights and is a short car ride to Manhattan. Sean enjoys taking the Yellow Cab to Brooklyn from here, which is always a flat rate that is competitive to Uber and Lyft. Assuming you're staying in Brooklyn, near the venue, you can jump on a shuttle (Q70-SBS) to the Jackson Heights- Roosevelt Ave E, F, M, R subway stop down towards the Atlantic Ave- Barclays Center subway station, which is a major hub of all the trains. A longer, more scenic shuttle option would be the Q60-SBS to the West 125th St/ Malcolm X Blvd 2, 3 train downtown.

Samantha and I don't usually recommend flying into EWR as it feels like quite a hassle afterwards to get into Brooklyn, especially for late night flights. It may, however, be great if you would rather stay at a hotel in Manhattan. Newark Airport Express: (https://www.coachusa.com/airport-transportation/newark-airport) This service runs hourly all day until about 8pm, so this wouldn't be an option for late night arrivals. It can take you to 3 stops along 42nd street; Port Authority Bus Terminal, Bryant Park, and Grand Central Station. All of these stops are a quick walk to the subway. NJ Transit Bus: (https://www.njtransit.com/) This option is also 30 minutes away from New York Penn Station for ~$19. Other stops: Port Authority, Bryant Park, and Grand Central. It is from these stops that you can take any train towards your hotel or to the Atlantic Barclays stop, which is a major hub of all trains in Brooklyn, and a 9 minute walk to Threes Brewing. (note: there is also a Newark Penn Station that is 5 min. away from EWR by the AirTrain)
Hotel
Samantha and I have personally stayed here and had a great experience. It's very clean, "cozy", in a great location, and budget-friendly. Amenities include a gym, wi-fi, and a welcoming lounge area with some complimentary coffee and affordable food options. Our Food Recommendation: Go to the ISKCON Hare Krishna Center just a couple doors away for a big buffet of vegetarian food downstairs. One of the best meal deals you can get in Downtown Brooklyn.
Hotel
GREAT BUDGET OPTION! At the time of writing this (End of March 2025), there is a room available for $58. This is located between Sunset Park and the Green-Wood Cemetery, just a few stops away from Threes Brewing. Also, it is very close to Brooklyn's Chinatown.
Hotel
Great location at the heart of Gowanus, an 8 minute walk from Threes Brewing, pet friendly, and has great deals offered if you stay 2 nights in a row, are ex-military, or are an AARP member. Recommendation: This is a block away from Public Records (https://publicrecords.nyc/) an excellent venue for concerts, with a great vegan cafe, a record store and bar inside. Get a whole Brooklyn experience in one building!
