What’s the address?

Start to finish, our wedding is taking place at the English County Barn of the Carolinas. 147 Sanderson Rd, Magnolia NC 28453

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by July 19th via bride or groom. This gives us plenty of time to finalize seating and get an accurate headcount to our vendors. If you were offered a plus one on your invitation and plan on utilizing it, please include them in your RSVP.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Please arrive wearing semi-formal attire in fall neutral colors.

Where can I stay?

Answer

There are a large quantity of hotels and air bnbs in Jacksonville, Surf City, Sneads Ferry, Wallace, and Warsaw all within 1 hour of our venue. We will not be booking a hotel block as a majority of our guests are local and will be staying at home / with family.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If a plus one was not included on your envelope, please respect our wishes in leaving uninvited guests at home.

Are Children allowed?

Answer

We are respectfully asking you to leave the little ones at home! This is an 18+ wedding. No exceptions.

Where do we park?

Answer

Our venue has plenty of parking space in front of the horse pasture, and closer parking in front of the venue doors for our handicapped guests. A golf cart will be in use as guests start arriving for transport.

Is the wedding indoor or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be outdoors under a shaded Pavilion, rain or shine. Cocktail hour will take place outside on the English patio weather permitted, and reception will be indoors. Following past years' September weather, be prepared for temperatures in the 80's. Water will be available at all times.

Can I take photos?

Answer

Please feel free to take photos but remember to be present in the moment as well. Be mindful of the photographer as we’re paying him to get the angles that you don’t need to worry about. As otherwise said, please stay out of his way!

I want to make a speech!

Answer

Please reach out to the bride or groom at least 2 months in advance if you know you want to make a speech so we can make adequate time for you.

Will there be drinking?

Answer

There will be an outside bar available during cocktail hour and inside bar available during reception. Please bring your ID. Drink with class, rowdy guests will be asked to leave.

Can I smoke or vape?

There is a designated smoking area outside, smoking or vaping outside of this area is prohibited.

Additional Things To Know

Answer

Our venue has a strict no feeding policy for their horses. Please abide by their rules or you will be asked to leave and further more may be required to pay any fines given to the bride or groom for vet bills. There may be bees active, we have natural flowers and the weather will be warm, please bring an epipen if you have any allergies. There can be outdoor cats found around the venue, feel free to give them a pat on the head but please don't forcefully hold them, they are still animals with claws and teeth and nobody likes being forced to do things they don't want to. With that being said, they are very sweet animals and love to show their support for couple's big days.
