2020 was the best year for us! Before the world became crazy, Bryce was building his career as a baseball coach in Illinois while Brittany was building her life in Janesville, WI. As the world slowed down due to lockdown, Bryce stayed at his dad's house in Delavan for a couple months and Brittany was living at her home in Janesville. Bryce got together with one of his good friends David and they got to talking about... girls. Typical guy stuff. Thankfully Brittany's long time friend - Sarah, is dating David and was in the room for this conversation. As Bryce tells the story, he asked "does Sarah have any cute friends that i'd like?" and David and Sarah both said "actually, yeah Brittany and you would be great together!" and just like that our numbers got exchanged and they met up 48 hours later :)

As cheesy as it sounds, for Bryce and Britany it was basically love at first sight. A week after getting to know each other, Brittany invited Bryce on a family trip to Hustiford, WI. Bryce fit right in, just as Brittany knew he would. As lockdown started to get lifted, Bryce had to spend most of his time back in Illinois for work. They ended up having a 2 hour time difference between the two of them for a couple of months before they decided to move in together in the suburbs of Illinois where they lived for almost 2 years. They rescued a pup, fixed up their house, and the best of all - GOT ENGAGED! Recently, Brittany and Bryce moved to Elkhorn, WI and are happy to be closer to family.

Bryce would only ever go all out for Brittany, and he did not disappoint! This proposal was the best day ever and so memorable for so many people. Bryce had recruited some help for this amazing proposal and asked Brittany's sister-in-law, Alicia, for some help planning this. He told her that he wanted to propose on their family vacation, get the proposal caught on camera, and make sure Brittany would have no idea!! So Alicia reached out to her friend who is also a photographer, first step done. Then Alicia went into their family group chat and said she hired a photographer to take "family photos" since everyone would be in town, second step done. Of course, Bryce asked Brittany's dad and he said yes, now all that's left is the moment we have all been waiting for. "Family photo day" is here and everyone is getting ready! The best part is that they really did take family photos - nice distraction! Then they did individual couple photos, oldest to youngest. With that being said, Brittany and Bryce were last to get their individual couple photos taken when, BAM! He popped the question!!! Everyone was surprised, teary eyed, filled with joy, happiness and excitement to see this moment happen. SHE SAID YES!
