Sarah & Kasidey met during undergrad at NC State University in dance class & became best friends. During their thirteen years of friendship: Kasidey’s beautiful daughter, Sophie, was born into two loving families. Since then, she has grown into the brilliant, creative, unicorn & rainbow-loving eight-year-old she is today. Sarah moved away… thrice. Both of them went back to school - repeatedly (okay, mostly Sarah). Careers were changed, and then changed again. Bast Kitty got major home upgrades (thanks Big Pharma!). Freya the dog was adopted.. and a gaggle of crabs. And then Sarah moved back to the triangle (for good this time). Through it all, they always kept in touch. Reconnecting in December of 2022, Kasidey and Sarah quickly realized that what they had long been looking for was right in front of them all this time. Sarah, Kasidey, and Sophie are so excited to celebrate becoming a family with all of their loved ones.
