Lanikai Pillbox Trail

One of the best short, steep hikes. Wear good grippy shoes!! 0.7mi , 226ft elevation

Diamond Head Crater Trailhead

Kapahulu, Honolulu, HI 96815

This is one of the top tourists hikes in Waikiki, but honestly for good reason. It is a cool hike- views overlooking the city, ocean, and diamond head crater. You do have to make reservations (see link). There's not much shade on this hike so I recommend either early morning or afternoon to avoid heat. __ mile. __ elevation gain.

Really popular spot on North Shore. Very touristy, but Waimea valley is very lush and beautiful- wild peacocks, beautiful flowers, and a cool waterfall at the end you can swim in (with a lifejacket and lifeguards haha). It's a paved trail, very family-friendly 1.6mi, 291ft elevation. There is actually a paid shuttle available if you don't want to walk

This is a great family-friendly paved trail! It's a steady incline to an overlook of the ocean and lighthouse __ mi. __elevation

Our favorite place to snorkel! There are pipes blowing hot water and there's tons of fish that hang out by the pipes Check link for daily water clarity report (west side)

Great place for beginner/ family-friendly snorkeling! So many fish! Make reservations with the link provided: • Online reservations can be made 2 days in advance starting at 7:00am Hawai‘i Standard Time (HST) • Tickets are on high demand and are very limited. They could sell out as fast as 5 minutes after reservations are available at 7:00AM HST $25.00 entry fee to enter the park Hanauma Bay is open from 6:45am to 4pm. Closed Mondays & Tuesdays

You can rent kayaks here to kayak out to "the Mokes" the island shown in the photo. This one is the cheapest rental we've found on the east side, they provide straps to strap onto your car. Or there's a place ____ that rents it close to the water

A great beach to hang out on North Shore really close to the main strip. Also usually a ton or turtles!! Depending on the conditions, can also be a great place to snorkel!

Really iconic beach on the east side, Kailua area. Crystal blue waters, white sand with the Mokulua islands in the background. You can find street parking in the neighborhood and then walk through any of the beach access sidewalks.

This is a great casual place to eat right on the water. It's in Waikiki by Diamond head side (mountain), in Kapiolani park. Good for burgers, sandwiches, poke, acia bowls, smoothies.

Highly recommend!! Locations in downtown Waikiki and Kailua.

Monkeypod Kitchen - Waikiki

Highly recommend for happy hour 3:30-5:00pm!! It's right on the water, live music, and the best Mai Tais!! Pizzas and appetizers are also half off during happy hour. Make sure to make reservations (see link) because alot of locals love happy hour here too!
