We eloped in February! We had our pastor, Mac McCarthy, marry us in our home in front of our family. This intimate ceremony meant so much to us, and we want to celebrate with you all this summer!!

In Columbus, OH, Lauren was visiting family and friends after departing the Navy. Her aunt Rene offered a ticket to watch the Memorial Tournament at Murfield Village. Serendipitously, Tatum, Trevor’s younger sister, just graduated from Ohio State, where she played Women’s Hockey. She was invited to the tournament from her Ohio State Hockey coach and invited Trevor to join. That Hockey coach and Lauren’s uncle happen to be good friends, small world. So during the last day of the tournament, Trevor and Lauren met. Tatum, the best wing woman ever, invited Lauren to join them back at the Hockey Coach’s house for an after party. After some hesitation, Lauren accepted. The rest is history…

We are so excited to announce we will be bringing a new Skaggs into the world in August. God has truly blessed us and we want baby Skaggs to also have a spotlight during the celebration!!
